The first day of our dad's visit went well! Nerve-wracking because of his new girlfriend but she mostly seems nice! She just drains lots of social spoons :') At least this visit has really affirmed for me that our life is here and we made the right choice to leave

We cleaned the house! We did it! Holy fuck we are tired Two disabled systems cleaning a two-story home with no dishwasher and a half working washing machine felt like the world's hardest task especially since we weren't fully moved in due to renovations But we did it! We're done! I'm so tired

It's 5:39am Our house is almost done being clean We're so close Just the dishes, bathroom, and trash- My dad doesn't get here until like 11pm I think?? Huge shout out to my partner @xxemoplushixx.bsky.social who's been busting their ass for us to prep for the visit For now Were gonna nap 😴

IN GOOD NEWS My dad is bringing with him suitcases of my art supplies I had to leave back in America Which means in just a few days I'll have my 400+ alcohol markers back!!
