Just learned that going permanently blind while on GLP-1 (NAION) is 20 times more likely than heart inflammation after a COVID vaccine (much less serious). I’m sure politicians will be calling to ban these drugs shortly.

Something I discovered quite recently is that in the US if you win a court case you still have to pay legal fees - it’s called the “American Rule”. In every other country I’ve lived in it’s normal for the losing side to pay which helps deter frivolous cases. @prisonculture.bsky.social

I commute on a motorbike everyday without my fiance knowing. She hates bikes. I love them. Rent a garage a few mins from home where i keep it. She thinks i get the train. Everyone knows apart from her and my mum. I feel awful but if I confess I fear the bike dream will be over.

Took clients out to dinner. The bill came and "it's on me!" so I took out my purse and looked for my company card. My kids had taken the notes and cards out of my purse and replaced them with sliced ham. An embarrassing situation saved by a phone wallet.
