I started out as Arcanist because it had a self-heal and a pocket tank. Then I hit 50 and Physick stopped working. Then ShB came out and my yellow carbie was no longer a tank. Azer'li is still an Arcanist (with a custom specialization) for RP purposes, but I main Red Mage.

This is awesome. No questions, but a bit of advice: if you're struggling, you can write Urianger's dialogue in plain English first, *then* edit it into his dialect. It doesn't have to be perfect the first try.

Thank you! I'd expect the newer dub to be more accurate knowing the state of anime dubbing in the 90s, so that's very good information. I figure I'll just find the missing ending scene when I'm done with that episode, I'm sure it's been uploaded somewhere. :)

No canon answer, but I have a strong theory that Garleans aren't a natural race. Someone wanted to make people who were strong and physically capable, but devoid of the ability to channel the magic that makes up everything that exists. The Allagans are my prime suspects here.

So I'm okay with people having fond memories of it or enjoying the books/setting with a death of the author mentality, that's not something I find to be a problem. It's when they start actively supporting what's her name that there's problems.
