Leah Greenberg ❌👑Remember the SNAP cuts in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill?” Children account for nearly half of the 2.4 million people who are no longer receiving SNAP in at least 19 states. The true number of kids impacted nationwide is unknown. This is horrifying. No child should go hungry.
“We’ve been trying to get the message out that if you have commercial insurance and think ‘well, I’m not impacted by this’ — of course you will be,” he said. virginiamercury.com/2026/07/21/e...
Please read all of Nathan’s well researched articles on Mcguire’s votes and beliefs. Mcguire’s vote for the BBB & general stance is that those living in poverty just need to work harder. In related news- early primary voting is open for the August 4th Democratic primary —please get out and vote!

Proud of Tom for being on the right side for our communities in OPPOSING Valley Link. If you've never heard of this project - you should watch this and read up on it - b/c it’s so massive that it probably involves your family, close friends or neighbors. We know how to fight back...WE protect us.
Tom Perriello for CongressI oppose the Valley Link project, and I will fight to defeat it.
This is an excellent recap of why HR 1 has had such a negative impact on food security - through limiting SNAP benefits & increasing work requirements etc. SPOILER ALERT: there is no evidence for work requirement…. c-ville.com/john-mcguire...
