As an editor who hates AI... Yikes, such a bad take and it hurts. Especially when I know so many hard working human editors. Way to offend a lot of people.

This 💯 Many parents are overworked with no time for kids & assume the school will both teach them everything and babysit all day (including after school programs) When they get home, easiest to just hand kid a tablet/phone so they use that > learning to use a computer

My mom is a teacher. No they don't. It's really bad. The online testing means the kids click a button and the computer reads everything to them so they can then click on the answer. Even for the writing questions, typing is not taught. It's bad & very scary.
