I haven't turned on my PS5 since I wrapped up my God of War stream a few weeks ago. I've been asked if I'm participating in #blackoutsony in August. Well, I don't see any reason to turn it back on anytime soon. I've been preoccupied with enjoying my Switch 2 & PC a ton lately✌️

Physical media is what keeps me invested in consoles. If true physical games disappear I'll stop buying new console games & move to PC. I doubt I'll be the only one, which is why console makers still have an incentive to preserve physical media, among other reasons.

Today I'll be checking out the first few chapters of Disgaea Mayhem and unboxing the collectors edition live on stream. Thanks to NISA for providing this CE and game to preview with my community.

I'm also considering reserving one of my stream times for just chatting only. I know some people avoid my game streams because they want to avoid spoilers. So maybe a compromise would be to do a purely just chatting stream talking about the latest gaming news or whatever.

When people say they're going to stop buying PS5 physical games to boycott Sony... doesn't that just give Sony even more justification to end physical disc production? I've been seeing this sentiment a lot lately and I can't help but side-eye it.
