They wont be under sanctions. That will be a condition of the deal Trump signs. They won't accept anything less and Trump'll sign it because he's increasingly desperate and he and his team are thick as mince.

True, but in this instance they mainly want to make America hurt as badly as possible for as long as possible. America killed their leader and a lot of his family and a lot of civilians and started a war for no reason at all, they're not going to forget that for a very, very, very long time.

The Iranians won't renegotiate what Trump eventually signs, which will be a bad deal for the US. They're aiming (and so far succeeding) to humiliate your country. If the dems get in they won't treat you any differently, they have absolutely no reason to.

Sure, but they can't run newer programs. They become obsolete. Not enough RAM, old processors etc etc. And that's assuming bits of them don't start to simply fail. If you're a techie you can work around this stuff, most people can't.

Tech. Buy a refurbished laptop or phone or whatever and it'll break or become obsolete much more quickly than brand new gear (which will often also come with a warranty).

The monetisation is the problem. You can make passable money making hateful YouTube content if you get enough views, and racist lies get a lot of views.

I'd put thay age much lower tbh. I guarantee you that the majority of Tommy Robinson's fans get all their news and analysis from YouTube. They leave it running and let the algorithm show them what it will. Every far right hotel bothering party features one or two nazi YouTubers at the periphery.

People keep blaming social media but (hate to sound like a stuck record here but it does bear repeating) the biggest problem isn't here, it's not FB, it's not even mainly Twitter, I think, it's YouTube. YouTube is *appalling* for pushing far right propaganda and everyone just ignores it.

I also don't want to be surrounded by racism and transphobia. That should be possible. One refuge from the scum of the earth shouldn't be a big ask.

I know a fair few communists and they're not on Russia's side either, it really is just a tiny number of extremely dumb people who have entirely melted their brains. Feckless online dimwits who can't understand that Russian imperialism is just as bad as American imperialism.
