This is the account of No One Above, a survivor led advocacy organization founded by survivors of organised abuse and trafficking by the Fayed network of perpetrators and organisations. www.nooneabove.org

@abbiellewelyn.bsky.social thank you for your coverage of the Home Office recognition that multiple Fayed victims were harmed by a sophisticated trafficking system, not one lone (dead) man. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/a...

The trafficker Mohamed Fayed died uncharged. The machine that facilitated and protected him did not die with him. This edition of the Bylines Network Gazette is about what happened next — and what hasn’t. Head to bylinesnetwork.co.uk/gazette/

No One Above, on behalf of recognised victims of Modern Slavery in the Fayed Trafficking case, objects to provisions in the Immigration and Asylum bill that would blame survivors who are prevented by their traffickers from reporting. Briefing: tinyurl.com/2rbp4587 #modernslavery

The disgraceful history of what was known about the Fayeds – and by whom – has been assiduously documented by our courts, journalists, biographers, police, and in the heartbreaking testimony of victims. No One Above will be sharing more of what lies in plain sight. Thank you @sussexbylines.co.uk.

Who knew what, and when? Survivor accounts of trafficking in the #Harrods case are shocking. We publish the first part today of a 2-part piece listing the individuals and institutions who knew and did nothing. If #AndyBurnham becomes PM will he finally see justice done? @nooneaboveorg.bsky.social

Thank you @wendychambld.bsky.social - NOA agrees

Today I raised the need to consider involving the National Crime Agency in the investigation into Harrods and Fayed. Survivors have told us these crimes spanned multiple locations and perpetrators - we must ensure investigations match that scale and rebuild trust.

NOA shares Anti-Slavery International's concern: the timing of disclosures of trafficking has nothing to do with survivors' crediblity. Fayed trafficking victims were isolated, traumatised, threatened, and compelled to sign NDAs. Early disclosure was made impossible.

Anti-Slavery International

We are extremely concerned about the update to the credibility section of the modern slavery statutory guidance published yesterday by the Home Office. ❓ But what is it?

"A formal trafficking investigation is not about one man in one room. It is about the entire apparatus – corporate, financial, legal, logistical, medical, and institutional – that made the room possible, made it repeatable and ensured that no one who entered it could easily leave or speak." 1/2

The government has recognised what survivors and experts said from the start: this was trafficking. NOA campaigned tirelessly for this — because only a trafficking investigation can gather the evidence needed for meaningful accountability. Full article: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Today Sir Mark Rowley, Met Police Commissioner, told the American press: "policing in the UK will operate without fear or favor" and "the law applies equally to everyone". That is NOT the experience of Fayed victims Sir Mark. @wendychambld.bsky.social www.goodmorningamerica.com/amp/video/13...

Starmer’s barefaced hypocrisy on this enrages me. His own government has been blocking justice for the Al Fayed victims. Write to your MP about this! (You can Google “Bylines Al Fayed” if you want articles as references)
