I playtested this game with a group of friends last year and it was extremely fun. I really appreciate the kind of experiences this team is putting out into the world!

it is wild to me we still get daily emails for review keys for celeste, 8 years later. I know a lot are probably just robots but even so lol

i constantly try to do stuff more data-driven and then end up saying fuck it and just hard coding it and it's usually better.

I'd rather people rip all the Celeste assets and make a boringly derivative fan game than make a Celeste roblox game.

Trying out syncthing + obsidian as a locally hosted notes/calendar thing ... seems to work pretty well.

I wanna know how the trackers on GDQ are made that are like the little versions of games with the donations coming in. It looks fun to make...

I don't care that much about physical media but I do care about owning the stuff I buy ... if you get rid of physical media entirely you should have to give me a DRM-free format I can purchase digitally and keep on an old hard drive

there isn't a problem with the game's industry. there's a problem with every industry and every publicly traded company. getting a "nice CEO who cares" or whatever won't fix anything until things are addressed at a more fundamental societal level. the system will always drive towards this behavior.

this just messed me up for a while because apparently C# record structs will not create an parameterless constructor unless it is explicitly defined and `new Struct()` will be the same as `default`. this is wacky dude
