In KOF 98 if you buffer a neutral jump normal in/before jumpsquat it'll come out as a full jump height version of either the neutral jump version of the button or the hop version of the button depending on what jump you used last.

Wild how the IPS was made to stop infinites and discourage loops. Like yeah man, technically, 12 days of christmas-ing someone to death isn't an infinite or a loop, but it still sucks lmao

God I hated release skullgirls so much. I tried to be positive at the time because it was a grassroots game but god IPS was such a shitty system. Over the years they made it more sensible and focused on its strengths god what a mess
