Essential reading. I’m increasingly of the opinion that we need a national conversation about how the undoing of reconstruction led to the failure to guarantee representative democracy. We can fix it (again) but everyone needs to understand this is repairing 140 years of sin, not 2 or 62 years.

With the clear failure of all the 2A types to rise up in armed defense of the people in the face of a tyrannical regime, I think we can re-evaluate the possibly that there is no good reason to own a weapon with a magazine.
