I know those news. The point was that you don't need to buy the newest hottest thing to be able to play games. My 1080 was kinda already weak even when I got it. Anyone who bought a newer pc before all of these increases in prices will be able to play games for a decade+

Yep, my current PC is literally 10y.o. I can still even play current games, let alone the entire library of the past 30 years

Yep, that's part ofthe influencer situation. Everyone who grew up with social media is now used to and expects insane hype and mr.beastedness from creators. And anyone who doesn't match that energy is perceived as negative/boring/dull. Brainrot of the highest order.

Anything that's not an insanely high praise and purely positive is usually seen as the complete opposite these days. I blame influencer culture (the worst parts of it) and loss of media literacy.

I feel like The Duskbloods being only on Switch 2 is kind of an indicator of this.

Teamfight Tactics is kinda the only alive and big one of the genre. I'm sure there's quite a few indie ones (as is the game in this thread), but I'm only familiar with the genre (through the og Dota2 mod and Dota Underlords), so I dont know about such indies. Id imagine googling/steaming genre helps

The combat happens on its own and you job is to just strategize the build of your unit(s). In this case it seems to be a big ship with a ton of guns/shields/etc

While it was her who spoke this, it was definitely a "they" issue, cause she was talking for the shareholder/board people.

The bay is still available and is still amazing. And VLC player lets you speed that shit up like there's no tomorrow. And I personally use qBit for the bay and so far it works great
