Matt is absolutely correct, Pinocchio Unstrung is a surprisingly good n' gory time. Went down really well in the screening I just came from too.
Matt DonatoPINOCCHIO UNSTRUNG is legitimately good, and I'm just as surprised as you are. It's giving Seed of Chucky/Chucky (the TV show) vibes with a folkloric twist. A shockingly tender blend of whimsy and gore that's worth hearty laughs, plus rad puppetry!
Chuck Russell may have had a relatively small catalogue of films, but The Blob and The Mask were formative films for me.
