In news that is squarely in my wheelhouse, Stars of the Lid's Adam Wiltzie announced a collaborative record with the late Johann Johannsson (recorded from 2013-2017) called Friendship Survival Guide. Among the contributors are Tim Hecker and (!) Steve Albini.

I ran 101 miles in July, almost an even split between outside and the treadmill. Up to 626 on the year, giving me a little cushion towards the goal of 1000. My outdoor times have been brutal lately, which I’m hoping has more to do with the weather (78 today) than my knees.
