Great suggestion -- maybe I'll give the audiobook a try. For me, so much depends on the voice actor/narrator with audiobooks so I treasure the good ones. And teachers deserve every bit of relaxation they can find -- hope your summer is going full zen!

For sure. Going out to the movies is expensive -- I've been spoiled by the local cinema with reclining seats and nice chianti 🍷😄 -- so my criteria are a) a film I *really* want to see, or b) a film I'd kinda like to see that I'm sure will benefit from the big screen experience. This was the latter.

Stongly agree. Canadians will no doubt have better feelings about a non-MAGA U.S. govt. But whereas multiple post-war gens grew up thinking of the U.S. as broadly decent and trustworthy, anyone who lived through the Trump era will never feel that again. Break trust once and it decades to rebuild.

Definitely. I won't have it in my top 20 or anything, but I had fun, enjoyed it with popcorn and a big glass of chianti, and tried to keep all the names straight so I could look them up to learn more about what their deal was. Like, who the heck were Cerci(?) and Calypso. 🤷‍♂️😄

The actors: Tom Holland is good, Anne Hathaway is very good, Robert Pattinson is excellent. (I haven't seen any of them in much else so might not be surprising to others? 🤷‍♂️) Matt Damon is Matt Damon, working hard to be world-weary but totally in his element when he goas Jason Bourne on the suitors.
