Piece I made for my mother for her birthday today. Based on a painting we used to have in the family collection (Shift, by Bridget Riley). We all loved the piece, but my father sold it to help pay for the house. Bought originally from Riley in 1964. No idea who owns it now.

What's everyone's favourite onion-free ready-made pasta sauce? I often use a pasta sauce as a base for a lot of things. But there are SO FEW onion-free options, and I'm annoyingly allergic to onion (but not garlic, weirdly). The presence of onion or onion powder makes it hard to breathe. Options?

Happened to be looking at one of the cameras today when I saw our outdoor tortie (the mother of the 4 new orange kittens), Esme, wander out of the underbrush with a squirrel in her mouth almost the same size as she. She then dragged it toward where she's stashed her kids. Weaning's definitely begun.

I think the most common email I get from Netflix is, "Neil! Don't forget to finish watching" some random show or movie I stopped watching halfway through because I can't sit through a whole movie or show without fidgeting and needing to do something else.

I keep getting these Kickstarter spams for "the first workout shirt that remains smell free for 30+ days without washing" and I cannot stress this enough, but FFS WASH YOUR CLOTHING. What the hell is WRONG with you?
