I’ve been thinking about this for many years, and a lot over the past few years. I do wonder if my behaviours and choices, (and also other minority people) are in part motivated to be seen as a “model minority citizen” for acceptance. And if so, what’s been the point?
Hollyphant PantsSikhs are usually a “model minority” in the UK. It just goes to show that no minority is safe from the roving eye of hate. The far right can and will seize on any minority to drum up a racial panic.
Israel- A largely rabidly radicalised racist population who unsurprisingly support this government’s fascist approach. But sure, it’s a “normal western style liberal democracy.”🤪
