I write… sometimes code….

Who's pumped for @atproto.la tomorrow?!?!? Who am I gonna meet there?

I just bought a new domain on @marque.at because I support the ATmosphere! Also very interested to see what atproto enables for domains at this layer :)

I have extremely {mixed feelings} news: 2020 tech twitter (complimentary) is back

honestly Anthropic made me look like a real jackass in front of my non-technical wife and children in the past 24 hours for the lengths I went to in order to keep my agents hot

mr. TIM

uh, i hope this is unnecessary advice, but please don’t change vacation plans based on Fable access, it’ll keep getting extended

serifs in a terminal / ide should be illegal

This is what I deeply believe marriage should feel like and pray everyone’s does Its an amazing and beautiful thing to have a relationship that’s just constantly discovering new limits of love

Cousin “Champagne” Ronnie

Yesterday was the three year anniversary of @devingaffney.com and I getting engaged. And next week will be two years married! Every day I am even more obsessed with him, it is sick (derogatory)

This might be the first time in my TWENTY YEARS OF DEV that I have EVER seen serifs in a terminal Why…just…WHY WHY?!?!

Why

Working on my own coding harness. It seemed inevitable. Maybe I'll write a better readme tomorrow, but the tldr is you should be spending your time using it designing the spec and answering questions about the backlog, then when the agent is working, it can do so for long periods without you.

Incredibly salient point about parenting

Sam Rose

“Why couldn’t you leave the eldest at home if you knew it wasn’t going to work?” Ultimately you have to try, right? Maybe they surprise you and they have a great time. It’s happened before. Not often, but if you close off all opportunities for it to happen you guarantee that it won’t.

THIS IS SO FREAKING COOL!!

Gave a demo at New Interfaces of the spatial launchpad I made for all my vibecoded personal apps. It's like a little office that replaces my desktop, and every object is a connection to a piece of software I've made, and here are some of the features:

I feel like I’m developing AI psychosis but for incredibly boring and deterministic workflows Literally make Luna my ADHD coach and force it to write cron jobs that poke me to finish email drafts

On a water fast until 5PM reset so my LLM usage is morally justified

I’ve got NPC syndrome I yearn for deterministic decision trees

While I’m very excited for recent Deno developments, and extremely grateful they exist in the ecosystem, this pitch line perfectly encapsulates why I struggle to use Deno - legacy codebase I maintain? Node - fun side project for 1 user? Bun I want the universal incumbent or max instability and fun

Roscoe Rubin-Rottenberg

Deno is back on Bluesky! 🥳 Also their new website (deno.com) looks great and finally has benchmarks against Bun, now that Deno 2.9 pulled ahead in most of them. I also love the line in the header: "Faster than Node; more stable than Bun."
