As much as I wish we had better representation in fire emblem games I don’t think the franchise will ever be able to do it. I just wish when lgbtq+ fans say “hey I think this character is queer” people didn’t jump down our throats about it because “that’s not what the game says” it’s exhausting

Honestly I’d believe that. Also queer representation like soliel’s being let down by the s class system is a consistent problem in FE as well. Just look at Lon qu in awakening. He is clearly coded to be a gay man but he’s forced to marry women for the 2nd generation. Same with maribelle.

Forrest is so trans it’s ridiculous. I played her paralouge and read first support with Leo and related to her so hard. And then she uses her/him. There is a space for representing feminine and gnc men, but if you convey the trans experience so accurately then say they’re not? It feels malicious
