In unity I’m not sure if there is a way to use long ints. I had a quick look a while back but I couldn’t find anything. I could switch engine if there was one better suited but I wouldn’t really have any experience in them.

Multiple maps sounds like a good idea I could have each solar system be a separate map. Not sure how I would do that though but it seems like the most resource efficient way.

The idea is to have a ship that flies around (in first person) (So naturally the galaxy will be moving around the player instead of the opposite) Unity still yells at me when I have objects really far away though and the gizmos for moving them disappear past a certain point.

Would godot be any good for a big open space game like this? I know nothing about godot but I do know someone that does

Huh I could’ve sworn the last few times I tried there were a few more enemies left True stalker idol still only was breakable after every other enemy was gone though

Also up until recently I thought that the cage for the hideous mass idol only opened after every enemy but the sand one was killed but apparently it opens before every other enemy is dead soooo

I just spam alt fire for electric nail gun and primary fire for blue sawblade launcher and hope for the best lol Sometimes it works That room was so painful on my first playthrough though because iirc I didn’t have the jackhammer yet Now that makes the virtues and stuff in there trivial.

Missed opportunity to call myself a fraud

Unironically took me more attempts to beat 8-3 p rank than p-2 I got so frustrated with 8-3 I cheated the p rank 😔 (I did eventually legitimately do it and even did it like 5 minutes faster)

I’m somehow better at p-2 than I am at either encores I think I’ve p-ranked p-2 twice maybe? I know the first time I did it, it didn’t take many attempts BUT THAT FUCKING BLOOD TUNNEL AREA

I was considering doing something like that If I was to do that (which I am not) thank you

If this was 0-E that you managed to p-rank like that I would’ve cried myself to sleep considering I’ve tried that level so much and missed p-rank by a few seconds
