Do you have a source for the "man of the cloth" claim? I have never read anything about his religious affiliation, let alone his being a clergyman, and I could not find anything about it on his congress.gov page or his Wikipedia bio.

The meme is bigoted, but since no ethnic groups or races are mentioned in the meme, I am unsure how it can be called racist

He visited his grandparents in Appalachia. He grew up in western Ohio north of Cincinnati, which definitely is not in Appalachia.

And specifically here, Pirro from the Department of Justice.

Why do you think that she would not hold people accountable? She was a prosecutor, District Attorney, and California Attorney General. The first twenty years of her career was about holding criminals accountable

Yes, and read everything that I could get my hands on about what was happening, trying to figure out what consequences Nixon and others might face. I was appalled when the VP recently downplayed Watergate, saying that this administration does worse every day.

Remarkably, I had a civics class at my high school in Oneida, Tennessee, in the 1970's. My research project on a "current event" was on the Watergate scandal.

One last response. Lewis did not "suddenly believe." He set out as a scholar and non-believer to disprove theism and Christianity. He failed to do so and became a reasoned and effective defender of Christianity. Also, not "unsubstantiated," but a secondary source that relied on primary sources.

000

A lot of unsubstantiated claims by you. Documents originating in mid-first century, one mentions interviewing eyewitnesses, another may have been written by a family member of Jesus. But my reference was to Lewis, who turned from disbelieving Oxford prof to become a prolific Christian defender.

So basically you refuse to consider evidence. May you know peace and perhaps develop the willingness and maturity to investigate challenges to your presuppositions.

So C. S. Lewis and Buzz Aldrin were/are gullible people? You might want to check Lewis' backstory and be very careful about saying that to Aldrin's face.

200

Some religious people are gullible. Many are cynical. Others are aware of injustice and their own faults, but try to tell truth, treat others fairly, and live morally. Others are your nightmare of hypocrisy. Many religious people are not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim, so aren't guided by the Bible.

The Ghost Who Went to School, but also the Doctor Dolittle books.

Gotta love AI.

Thank you for the mention!

The governor agreed with you. And I agree that the perks of independence would be lost. But some wish that they had an actual voting Congressmen/Senators, and had votes that count for US President. Spanish could be retained. Congress has not enacted English as the USA official language, despite DJT.

010

Who was President in 2020? Trump and Republicans are adamant in their opposition to statehood. "Politics results in strange bedfellows" is an old saying that seems to apply to you. I am not saying that you or other independistas support Trump, but you agree with him on PR and some election fraud

210

That may be. But the results of the last four referendums on it there were that a majority of Puerto Ricans voted for statehood. Puerto Rico Voted for Statehood - PUERTO RICO REPORT share.google/5x7JobaiLghV...

Puerto Rico Voted for Statehood - PUERTO RICO REPORTPuerto Rico voted for statehood. Many Americans do not realize this. However, Congress must admit Puerto Rico as a state.share.google

But some are trying to add D.C. as a state, and Puerto Rico has voted that they want to be a state. But of course those people are not psychopaths
