Holy basil is quite different from Thai basil, and while you can get away with Italian basil for this dish, holy basil is what is used in Thailand. LOVE broccoli raab. There's something called "chinese broccoli" (gai lan) which is similar that's used in a lot of Thai dishes.

TBH I'd never heard of Holy Basil. It's odd: My mother occasionally cooked "broccoli raab" (a leafy green) when we were growing up. Most produce guys out here have never heard of it. And the ones who do, don't know where to get it.

I may be concussed, but I can still cook. Pad Kra Pao - a fab favorite Thai dish: stir-fried ground chicken, garlic, chilis, oyster sauce, fish sauce, light soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, green beans, and lots and lots and LOTS of holy basil!

UPDATE: My latest tumble resulted in a concussion. As confirmed by my local GP, yesterday. So what was on Monday a decision I was comfortable with is now (no pun intended) a no-brainer!
