Give yourself a schedule, post one thing about your OCs a day, a week--SOMETHING. EVENTUALLY, things will work out. ADHD hates waiting--but sometimes it the only way (3/3)

...in order to find stability with the goal early. But the truth is it's never gonna be "now." Building interest works just the same as it does for your other projects--lots of talking, posting, and TIME. And yeah, it'll be a much slower process with OCs cos there's no established fandom... (2/3)

I totally get that! Speaking from my own experience, I think the trouble has to do with "delayed gratification". You're adhd brain is trained to want reward "now". If you can't get it "now", brain worries it will never have it! So you try to search for a way to shortcut the process... (1/3)

As someone whose merely been talking about their OCs without any art and gotten asks/hype for them, its just a matter of being annoying about it lol The OC stuff won't start out as popular but with time and more material, there'll be more interest!

The way your colors supported Sonic's expressions and big ole eyes during the Super Sonic portion felt very grounding to me. The slight greyness in the iris was what did it I think! I loved the beautiful pink sky and green grass supporting the bright blues of the shattered crystals at the end!

Overthinking is a soul-sucking endeavor. It sounds like u got a lot of life stuff going on at the same time, too, so u also can't really expect yourself to be at 100% art wise till all that's taken care of, right? Art energy is going into that instead! Do what u can; that's good enough for now!

The cruel thing is the real trick to going fast is to stop caring about the speed. The more time you spend worrying about going slow the less time you're allowing your brain to actually focus on doing the thing™. Sonic doesn't try n' control the wind--he rides it ;)

If I could work on Spectral Man for the rest of my life I think I would be happy. I love Sonic but if its not in the cards, it's not in the cards and that's okay. I appreciate everyone who's supported me thus far and continue to support me as I do my best to climb to newer heights :) 3/3
