it's like a 50-60 foot tree and it shades our yard a ton but it's also a life line for so many critters I'd be devastated to lose it.

in better news today, the beech tree has been treated! I can't remember if I'd mentioned but it's been hit by the beech leaf disease but luckily it's not in a bad state! so now we wait a year, and finish the rest. It sucks it's so aggressive [and expensive] but we'll take it over removing it.
