On the same day, Mayor Frey vetoed two pieces of legislation that could have materially helped neighbors who have been targeted and traumatized by the last 5 months. 4/?

The Frey administration and MPD have shown themselves once again to be on the wrong side of history. 3/?

In the immediate aftermath of both murders, they failed to render aid, refused to allow investigators on scene, and assaulted neighbors and rapid responders. It’s par for the course for the MPD chief to say that MPD officers are on the side of residents, and then secretly sign this agreement. 2/?

Armed federal, state, and local law enforcement participated in these raids. And although not directly ICE raids, these continue to perpetuate false narratives around our immigrant neighbors. Minnesotans have proven we’ll stand up over the last 148 days, and we still stand together. 2/2
