Yes. The dude loves NUFC and is proud of his time at the club. That said, he's a professional and knows he only has so many years to be in the champions league so he's going to do what he can to make that happen. Not forcing a move either, so he likely views it as an honorable way to go about things

I don't see anyone viewing him as a Bruno replacement. He's a defensive midfielder, which is the role Tonali has been playing more of.

The only way I'd look at that deal with Arsenal is if it was a player swap with Odegard. Even then I'm not super happy about the whole thing. If they want to be serious, get serious. Full captain swap.

I don't think he pulls an Isak, but I can see him being convinced by his agent this is the best move for him. Sad thing is the fans love him at NUFC and he won't get that at Arsenal. Any bad game and they turn on their players and staff completely. Happier ending for everyone if he went to Spain.

Honestly, I think Miley is probably the Tonali replacement with Bamba being backup to Miley, but we won't know until things kick off and players settle in. The new guys are young and some will need more time than others to settle in or pay off.

Yeah, I just see a lot of "Tonali replacement" type comments when the guy has 23 appearances in games for a "first team" or non-youth teams. Miley is the same age and made twice as many appearances...in the PL no less. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just seems like all young risk signings so far.

I will not stand for Joe leaving. He's my favorite story of a career turned around and he's an absolute machine. I can't even name a player in world footy I'm aware of that takes his place for me. There's also no team that'll value him for as much as it would cost to even try to replace him.
