Exactly, thus my nit-picking. Some dogs will shed and change their coat for winter and summer. That's not to say any of them should be out in 100 degree heat, I just get a bit of ich from the call to wear a winter coat out to empathize with your dog. Dogs don't sweat.

Don't most dogs with an undercoat shed it in the spring time, or early summer? We just got our puppy a month ago, so I haven't seen what kind of shedding she will do after her winter coat grows in.

Probably a bad take, but a coat is designed to keep your body heat in, a dog's fur isn't a 1 to 1 comparison. I just want to be nit-picky about that. I agree it is way hot out for the doggo.
