On the subject of food, quite a few 80s and 90s movies would treat now-mainstream fare as exotic or snobby. Sushi and cappuccinos, for example. 80% of the supermarket lettuce was iceberg, at least where I was.
On the other hand, stupid flavored creamers didn’t hog half the dairy aisle
I actually managed to track down some of my old favorites for purchase. I get that libraries have to cull books but my preference will always be dusty and obscure stacks

But it is nice to get good imported kimchi at Costco
I miss my childhood local library, which couldn’t afford many new books and was heavily stocked with titles 20 to 50 years old at the time.
I think I have been subconsciously rebuilding it, now that I think about it.
Still keeping all modern medicine though 😜
I like old timey entertainment, I love historical research but I am staying right here in the present day with precision surgeries (including robots!), trusty vaccines, antibiotics and more
