As someone who doesn't really care about the classics, I can not say how much it makes my heart sing to know that all the nerds are fighting over ancient Greek stories today and I hope thousands of baby nerds are born from the ashes of these discourse flames, at least we're all getting smarter.

I hate to admit it but... I'm getting more use out of the meatgrinder attachment for the kitchenaid than I expected. LOL I suppose I need to think of other uses for it now??? We've mostly used it for pork and turkey.

We bought our 20 pounds of pork today and processed it a few different ways, and it really is affordable and I found a lot of intriguing grill recipes (especially Korean and Thai) so I am CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC. (because someone is always thinking it, obvs no Mr. Bree does not keep kosher)

Tomorrow Donna & Mr. Donna are going to help us do something I have wanted to do since before the freaking pandemic: finally repair our Big Green Egg and bring grilling back into the mix. I think this fall I want to learn to do ribs at some point, but until then I'm perusing pork recipes. 👀
