2/6 This issue includes a 座談会 with Japanese women married to Chinese men (including from Japan's occupation puppet government leadership). The warm depictions of Sino-Japanese marital bonds put Japanese wives at the heart of cultivating Japan's wartime ambitions for a new relationship with China.

The publication was shutdown in 1905 and a successor 直言 was set up which was also shut down later that year. This is also available on Internet Archive but both the originals and the scans are often poor quality: archive.org/search?query...
