Excellent video regarding ChatGPT's recent headline-inducing 'discovery'. It's very easy to take a topic beyond the domain of the common folk to sell the illusion of intelligence. I've used Wolfram Mathematica before. What does this offer for the resources it consumed? youtu.be/3_2NvGVl554

You don't need this reminder, but I'll echo it again: complacency is what led us to censorship. Complacency is what led us to trackers on every inch of the web. Complacency is why people carve out hiding holes from the prying eyes, ready to rip them apart. Seek alternatives. Reject complacency.

Sometimes I wake up, write a basic LSTM, and find out that it produced a gibberish that made me laugh. I /cannot/ get over the phrase "what matemang the siguarot" -- it sounds like the type of new meme I'd encounter in the wild without any context of what it could mean.

I always realise how inept I am at handling loss and grief whenever I have to face them. I still tense up, I still lose track of what I'm doing, and I still occassionally burst into a puddle of emotions. In that, I continue to be reminded that I shouldn't take the time I have left for granted.

Our leader started Asterisk Order, our VTuber group, as a mere in-game guild in an MMO. He was passionate, caring, supportive. The kind of person we loved to have around. Thank you, Weißoo. Please continue looking after us as we move forward -- as our eternal 'CEO'. Rest well, friend.

This is how language models see what you write! Here, I encoded a test sentence, which is turned into token IDs. These tokens are precisely what the models are processing -- and in this case, I was able to /exactly/ reconstruct the encoded sentences from those tokens alone; from numbers to words!

After going through research papers relating to LLMs, I can confidently say that big (tech) companies will always ruin the fun and curiosity from many topic of interests by turning them into a product.

I spent the last day or so writing a language model for text prediction. Behold, my handiwork.

Out of the blue, I decided to boot a Ubuntu 11.04 ISO. When I perused the sample media that it provided, I remembered this song. It was a lovely song when I listened to it years ago -- but I never thought the lyrics would be very prophetic. "We had our fun but I have sung this song to you before."

It's Sunday and I have nothing to do. So, let's fill my time with something more interesting: comment down below for a random assortment of facts about the Android OS! Android is an operating system I'm most involved in since its inception, so it'd be fun to share some fun facts about it!

"But if I was gone tomorrow, won't the waves crash on? Is it selfish that I'm happy, as we pass the setting sun?" These lines from Porter Robinson's 'Everything Goes On' is something I see myself coming back to often, even if it sounds hauntingly bittersweet. That song struck such a chord in me!

I love toy programs in terminal. Bonus points for having them run when during login, too (I remember how popular login shell modifications were!)

I'm currently writing the script for a video I'm working on. One of the sources in that script has the following hero image, which I cannot aptly describe the /feel/ of using words.

The popularity of those sorting algorithm visualisation videos have made it possible for me to describe a concept and follow up said concept with, "just like Bogo Sort." Because there is nothing more fascinating than seeing people 'click' with something as abstractly mundane as a sorting algorithm.
