Seeing the Guild Kickstarter sandwich board folks wandering through my booth today made me think I’m working too hard promoting my own Kickstarter. I should have just gotten a sandwich board with Felicia Day printed on it. Instead I made a Gacha machine that spits out free buttons with a QR code.

I’m used to the “we can help drive sales” spam when I launch a Kickstarter, but getting “professional book cover designer” spam is hurtful when the book cover is very clearly already on the campaign page. 🤪😂

S/O to “Bulka” who pledged $1 to our Kickstarter, left a long comment trying to sell their Kickstarter traffic services, then cancelled their pledge, which deleted their comment. 10/10 marketing.

Looks like Disney is covering the Gaslamp sign. I… kinda hate that, tbh. #sdcc

Now that Big Book of Borbs is live, it’s got me thinking about our first Kickstarter, Eureka: The Art of Science. Just like this one, we launched it right before SDCC. We had handouts and giveaways at the booth and worked so hard to promote it.
