With his resume, price, and expiring contract, Peralta is one of our biggest trade chips outside of the bullpen. But at the same time…….who would trade for him? He’s just been dreadful.

Haven’t entered an All-Star Break 17 games under .500 since 1995. Unlike most of the pundits, I wasn’t very optimistic going into this season. I didn’t feel we did enough to address the rotation, nor did we do enough to replace Pete’s bat. But my goodness, I did not think we’d be nearly this bad.

I feel like only Stearns would look at Ewing’s stellar defense in CF and be like “ok, but how is he at second?”

I need to find that BBQ next time I go to Citi.

Oh I completely agree. But it would’ve been nice if NBC had gotten Stearns’ terrible ideas straight. Polanco was the initial bad idea; Vientos was the backup bad idea.

I was really trying to root for Team USA despite Trump. I’ll still try but ….. yeesh.

Also, my family has dealt with Pieper before. Great people there. I have no doubt they were as gentle and comforting as they could be on such a horrible day.
