And a quick update: those stuck orders are finally moving⏩, and the first batch of white BJD dolls is pretty much done (just needs some final sanding)😊. Everything should be completely finished and ready to ship out around the 25th-30th.🗓️

Why do this? Because the cast figures are way sturdier, feel incredibly smooth, and basically have that high-end official figure vibe! 💖

But for small batches, we go all out and do mold casting! Basically, we take that 3D-printed base, sand and polish it until it’s absolutely flawless, and use it as a "master" to pour a mold. Every figure after that is cast straight from that mold.🫶💕

To put it simply, casting is basically the leveled-up version of 3D resin printing. Usually, for custom OCs or when we only have a few orders, we’ll just use high-precision 3D resin printing to make the blank resin base, sand it down till it’s super smooth, and paint it.🎨

On top of that, we’re adjusting our team's direction going forward⏩. We’ll be focusing more on high-precision SLA resin prints in the future💎. Though they’ll be smaller (mostly around 3 to 5 inches), the detail is going to be insane!✨ mlpcustom.com/product/mlp-...

Honestly, she is an absolute unit (standing at 14 inches/35 cm!) with way too many individual parts💕. Unlike a plushie that you can just toss in a box, every single piece of her has to be wrapped with extreme care😭. To be real, packing her up last time took me almost 2 hours!📦🥲

Crafted by "One Tailed Fish", a fashion designer and custom cosplay maker based in China. (no social media here) It looks like she does take custom commissions, but we’re still working out the details regarding pricing, turnaround time, and shipping.
