I've been waiting on a order of furniture from ikea for a month and the deliveries have been cancelled TWICE now for "logitics reasons" this is sooooo annoying

4/ i think establishing a baseline style to your comic is important so those simple-comedic and intense-dramatic moments can be used effectively. mixing it up too much or inappropriately muddies the baseline. it's all relative.

3/ been seeing comics where simplification feels overused and that the style is all over the place, so when a character is drawn at what's presumably the normal detail level they just look creepy.

2/ applied to comics i think there's also skill in knowing when to have characters go chibi/simplified for comedic effect or not.

1/ keep thinking of a post i saw ages ago that you shouldn't consider chibi comms a discount offer because it takes skill to simplify a character design and achieve good proportions. they were so right

to be fair, sparing her wasn't a thing at first! She was exclusive to neutral/evil runs until players figured out this convoluted Sheepthara exploit to recruit her while saving the grove, and Larian patched in the KO route to simplify it. but YEAH I recruited her in my Cally run and shes AMAZING

(Part 2/2) I also unintentionally killed Minthara in the most in character way possible. Like, never ever went anywhere near her, just had Astarion snipe her from the farthest distance possible while Aldiirn hid in a corner. 😂
