Dems only want fascists to join their party, not anyone who wants to materially improve the lives of people in the community. Look at how hard Pelosi & Clinton fought to bring anti-abortionists into leadership positions; or how much other Dem leaders ignored GitMo, healthcare, labor, or education.

I’m at a friend’s house so it looks he and his family are not out of town. This mostly means watching movies: 1) ‘Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’ is pretty good, but I was expecting more of a Groundhog Day vibe than we got. 2) ‘Send Help’ was okay, but I kept picking up my phone. Not a great sign.

A counterpoint to being able to get some writing going today is due to my recent surgery & recovery, I can’t interact with any of the animals at my shelter. But I did find a workaround to show some affection to my #1 girl when I gave her some toys.

I feel better for having been able to arrange my time at work in such a way as to be able to do some writing today! No actual story happened, but I was able to flesh out some characters & set up how the timeline works. I hate time travel stories, but I think I can enjoy it with my own set of rules.
