Was reminded of a post where instead of using "floats my boat" I wrote "levitates my Lusitania" and friends, if there were a Nobel Prize for blogging, I would proudly accept it.

Just got in from seeing the new SPIDER-MAN movie...one of those 3D showings, which were the tickets we were gifted. 3D doesn't do much for me, since my right eye isn't 100%, but it was a perfectly enjoyable film and for those of you with two reasonably good eyes, I think the effects will look great.

Somehow I missed there's an "Iron Age" designation for comics now? Starts in '85 (which heavily overlaps the supposed "Copper Age" of '84 - early '90s), runs 'til 2011 (start of New 52, I presume). Man, I'm still having trouble with "Bronze Age." (Um no offense @bronzeagebabies.bsky.social)

hoo boy, remember the "If Daryl Dies, We Riot" craze of 2013? What a wild time. That phrase was on everybody's lips. It was the punchline to every other Saturday Night Live skit. You couldn't go 20 minutes without someone shouting that out and everyone cheering.
