They've done nostalgia snapshots. Then they show a wrestler walkkng backstage. Then morr nostalgia snapshots. Now an ad for one of their netflix shows, followed by ... please stand by. I'm not used to this. AEW PPVs are wall to wall action. There's nothing happening here. #Summerslam #wrestlesky

Powerhouse Hobbs is here. That match was a bit meh. They're still doing the bloodline/OTC angles too. Bring on the ads and nostalgia I guess.

They did use AEW's worst trope in that match though. The we're just going to stand in this spot all night until you moonsault us spot. Why? #Summerslam

First thoughts, and this like a weird thing to say, but we're one match in & I hate this. Even though the match I saw (Liv vs Iyo) was really good. It's the 10+ mins of dead advert time that follows. Then guysnfrim yesterday in the crowd, then a ring entrance disgusied as an ad. #Summerslam

Got a quiet Saturday night and just realised #Summerslam is on, so giving it a watch for nostolgia and comparisons to AEW. I won't hide it, I'm in AEW's corner for many reasons, and I've stopped paying attention to WWE, let watching their product. But I'll call it as i see it
