You have it backwards. It is the products that you use that have to be wrapped in layer after layer of special handling. Also, of course it is plagiarism. That’s why the AI companies keep settling IP lawsuits. If you ask Claude to write firmware, you can easily find the ripped off sources.

One major reason that the commercial models have to keep diverging farther and farther from pure LLM/TNN is that all such models inherently collapse when fed their own output. You can stop collapse in, say, a restricted Boltzmann machine but no one has yet demonstrated it with an LLM.

Sorry, my perspective is as someone who has developed LLM/xNN models for research and data analysis from scratch. From a technical standpoint genAI and GPTs are a pretty big divergence from that. They have to be for the products to work at all. For the average ‘automated plagiarism’ user?🤷‍♂️
