I think you're underestimating the contagion risk from the AI bubble popping. A recession in the US will affect the global economy and the sector of private finance seems like a house of cards too.

It is also well established that different feeds have different environmental impacts, and those differences aren't modelled here. Many factors have been ignored, including pesticide use, biodiversity, deforestation, and food miles. It isn't holistic. Efficient at destroying the planet, sure.

I know, I've read it. There is no common diet composition shared between caged hens and organic hens in the UK as the study assumes. Their respective feeds follow different supply chains entirely. Caged hens consuming their food 'more efficiently' doesn't make them more eco friendly as they assert.

The study's methodology for measuring the environmental impact of feed is blunt, ignores too many relevant factors, and is built on a lot of assumptions and zero relevant UK data. It's a load of disingenuous pro-factory farm rubbish.

Obviously neither have you. Where is the accounting for it in their CO2 emission calculations then? Your screenshots don't show that at all. They make claims about eutrophication and acidification that aren't substantiated with reliable evidence. The feed impacts they state aren't based on UK data.
