People seem to think that the fascists will just fade away if we elect better politicians enough. But they won't. The most powerful people in society back the fascists so they will always have money and media behind them, and they will turn to violence if electability fails them.

I think 'leftists' who want politicians careers ended for being vaguely tied to implied, hypothetical violence against fascists want 'leftist' politicians who will lead them along with people like myself into shallow graves at the hands of said fascists.
