Heyyyyy a coneflower has actually survived to bloom in my yard!!! It is a total mystery to me why I've had so little success with these things, they're supposed to be bomb proof, and they grow happily enough for the neighbours...hopefully this one will spread! #bloomscrolling

WELP it is friday afternoon and I have updated my extrëmly silly fanwork 💅 this is what happens when I am left between projects, people archiveofourown.org/works/89288366
Does anyone else immediately think of The Tick, wherein a villain named Chairface has an evil scheme to write his name on the moon? They stop him 3 letters in, so for the rest of the show the moon has CHA written on it It was funny bc defacing the moon was ludicrous even for a cartoon villain 😑😑😑😑

I RTd this months ago and it's still fucken amazing 🔥
Kym DeynThis is a sheer indulgence on my part, but it turns out I never actually shared the poem here, so: 🍃
“History is 35 feet deep” is a poetry prompt if ever I heard one
Steffani Cameron 🇨🇦when i was a nomad, i was in Athens and passed the excavaion of a Roman ruin, & thought, "history is 35 feet deep," & began thinking of what it is that buries us in the end, & it's effectively every living thing. i read a great book called "dirt" but stopped at the part where it got god-ish.
Welp guess I've gotta rewatch P&P 1995 for research purposes, alas
God, what a mood 💀💀💀💀
CE (Catie) MurphyI've had a complete manuscript on sub for 18 months to 15+ editors, 4 of whom have responded at all (with rejections*, after a year & being pressured for a response). One editor asked for it specifically & still hasn't responded. With all due respect, how the fuck am I supposed to survive this way.
ALL RIGHT PEOPLE, it is ON Because Jane Austen's Masters of the Universe CLEARLY needed to be a thing, I have begun a very silly fanwork, intended to become a comic illustrated by @heymonsterboy.bsky.social Check it out at archiveofourown.org/works/89288366
Electric Kool-Aid Bechdel TestCome to think of it, I'd also probably also be curious enough to give the first couple episodes of 'Jane Austen's Masters of the Universe' a try. Your point still stands that none of these properties *need* those kinds of treatments, though.
