Really, and who provides the required valuations? Would it be banks and/or estate agents…or maybe the surveyors who work in the best interests of the latter? It’s just an extension of vulture capitalism. And if anything distorts the market it’s the current ridiculous property valuations.

Yes they do, based on equally ridiculous property valuations as provided by self interested parties in the property sector. They are called Estate Agents and Banks, and if you are happy for these extreme profiteering organisations to provide the required valuations then best of luck!
