Just for giggles...my talented husband painted this Sumi-e of a porcupine and it reminded me of our favorite raccoon.

The problem with evil people is they know there is always a small window of opportunity to do the shit thing they want to do before the authorities/justice/banks/family members/boy friend/ girlfriend/spouse/partner/neighbor/parents catch up or wise up wake up. Starts young. Orange case in point.

Something nice for Sunday. Everyone needs to see 'The Lost Forest', a short environmental/climate doc about a team of scientists who visited a singularly remote forest on top of an enormous outcropping that no human had ever touched. It won a Nobel Prize. Beautiful film! It's on Youtube.

Look at that room full of capitulating assholes in their spangly dresses and cocktails ready to listen to that lying buffoon...the only reporters who have any integrity are the ones who aren't there.

This mess was always going to happen, I didn't think it would be this bad (thanks to the orange asshole and his minions). It is the inevitable sea change. The conversation we needed about race/suppression/history/$$$ inequality is taking place...it's ugly right now but it will force change. Vote.

I try really hard to correct my spelling. It's my own little protest against the trend of 'can't be bothered', 'they know what I mean', 'everybody does it' or 'we live in emoji-text land'. All your words are important, they are your truth given to others, take a moment, spell it right.
