the thing that sucks about what happens with rogue/magneto/gambit in 97 is that whenever anybody wants to object it it’s not bc mag groomed her or took advantage of what he knew to be her most sincere desire. it’s instead that it’s all her fault and while she’s not blameless that is misogyny lol
