Memo to people who think expanding the Supreme Court would make it “too political”: THE COURT IS TOO POLITICAL NOW, and it’s badly misaligned with the values and views of the American people. Fight the fascists. Don‘t reward them for hijacking our government.
Adam GurriI just listened to a panel with David French and someone from the Brennan Center vociferously argue against expanding the Court. French said it would lead to “the dissolution of the republic.” About a third of the audience applauded. We need to get a policy culture that’s willing to do what it takes
