If you haven’t yet had enough reasons to quit Spotify, here’s one more. I removed my music from Spotify and closed my account a while ago. Literally any other streaming service is better.

So we now have people betting on Spotify chart positions on prediction markets and then using bots to make their bets come true. $400m has been bet on music on Kalshi already in 2026. People are making more money betting on artists than the artists are making from releasing music. Great stuff!

I wanted to discuss a hot topic - AI. In general, I’m not against AI as the technology. I think it is useful when used to augment someone’s work but not to replace. Any kind of creative work - strict no. Software development where you could speed up some routine work - yes.
