My personal gardening skills are…not great. But we’re going to try to turn a new leaf (both literally and metaphorically?) in our new house! 😬🤷🏻‍♀️🤪

We tried to plant trees in our front yard several times, and each time a catastrophic rain event soon followed and drowned those poor little guys before they could really get going. We just stopped trying.

We know that she is receiving the best love and care for any chance at life, and even if it ends up very short, she will have been so so loved.

I informed my family this morning of this situation, and wes were all a little surprised. My husband and I are happy because we close on our house in a week, and we’ve been living in a hotel for almost a month. But otherwise, it was shocking.
