This is becoming a concerning pattern…

On this 61st anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid, I’m hosting a senior-focused town hall to give a legislative update and discuss what I’m doing to preserve these vital programs that provide millions of Americans access to the health care they need when they need it.

Today, Medicaid is under threat as the largest cuts to the program in Republicans’ Big Ugly Law take effect this January. I met with Virginia Secretary of Health Marvin Figueroa and providers to discuss the impact to over 300,000 Virginians and how we can work to mitigate these cuts. #SaveMedicaid

Community Project Funding allows me to partner with local officials to meet the infrastructure needs of our shared constituents. This week, I delivered $1 million each to Emporia and Lawrenceville, and $800k to Prince George County for necessary wastewater and sewage improvements.
