My next book, Lexicographia Antisemitica, is under contract with T&T Clark in the Scriptural Traces series! The book explores Romantic notions about language and the concept of "Late Judaism" and traces these influences through the pages of the TDNT and its reception in 20th c. scholarship.

I am not exaggerating when I say that @chance boar.bsky.social’s chapter here is agenda setting for historical Jesus studies and its future engagement with slavery studies. Really excited to get this volume out.

Youth sports really bring out the worst in people. I did not think the way my 9 yo's coach was talking to the girls was appropriate- talking down and yelling to 3rd/4th grders. He called me a "soft helicopter parent," a few other insults, and wound not consider my view. It's been a long day.
